In partnership with the City of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Triathlon we are delighted to invite you to the stunning city of Dubrovnik in Croatia.

Tri Coaches & Ride Guides
This schedule offers you an outline of what you can expect to do during your time with the VISTA team in Dubrovnik.
However, we do adjust, change and adapt this schedule based on the many variables that we have to manage including the groups ability, level of fatigue, weather conditions and the feedback we get on a daily basis from you!
Striking a balance between working hard, learning, having fun and managing expectations is something we pride ourselves on after our teams 20+ years experience of delivering sports and wellbeing holiday, camps and events.
Quite a unique to our training camp is the partnership and inclusive entry to the Dubrovnik triathlon on the last day of the camp giving you an amazing week of training with the benefit on competing on closed roads in one of the most amazing cities you’ll ever visit!

Yes. We suggest booking the earliest flight departing from your preferred airport to Dubrovnik airport on Sunday 9th October 2022. By booking the earliest flight it allows us to maximise the first day in Dubrovnik and rest up from your travels before training starts on Monday morning. We strongly recommend you book your flights as early as possible to get the best possible prices from the airlines.
You transfers to and from Dubrovnik airport are including in the price of the camp. Prior to the camp we will reach out and request your flight details and any further information we require from you such as number of people (if you are travelling with non-athlete family/friends), or whether you are arriving with or without your bike.
Yes. We have partnered with a local bike shop in Dubrovnik that offers bikes you can hire for the week of the camp. We suggest hiring for collection on Sunday and for the bike to be returned on Saturday after the triathlon. To book your bike visit: wwwbikehirecroatia.com
The currency in Croatia is Croatian kuna (HRK), but since Croatia is a tourist country many businesses also accept the euro (EUR).
The current plans are for the Croatian kuna to be replaced by Euro at the beginning of 2023, when Croatia enters the Eurozone.
Kuna literally means ‘marten’, a throwback to earlier times when the currency of the region was animal skins, and marten pelts were considered valuable.
The simple answer is ALL abilities. We pride ourselves on delivering a camp that enables people of all abilities to come together, learn from one another and all get as much as they want and need from the camp.
We do ask that if you are very new to training and triathlon that some training and preparation is done prior to attending the camp for you to really get the maximum return on your time with the coaches and the other athletes. Cycling is probably the biggest area we would suggest focussing on prior to attending the camp and we would ask that you are comfortable riding with clip-in shoes on a road bike for 2+ hours.
If you have any specific questions relating to your ability and training ahead of the camp please email john@vistawellbeing.io.
We ask that all athletes are 17 years or older to attend the camp.
We are happy for children to join the camp with non-athlete partners/friends, but due to insurance reasons children under the age of 17 years old are not allowed to participate in the training sessions.
Absolutely not! Nothing during the week (including the triathlon race on Saturday 15th) is compulsory. The coaches will provide you with the following days plans after dinner each day and you can decide for yourself whether you join in or take a day for yourself.
Any activities that you do decide to take part in during the week that are outside of the coaches plans are are your own risk and expense. But the coaches and their local contacts and knowledge will be happy to help you organise anything you might want to do if it is within their power.
The Dubrovnik Triathlon is held in the southern most Croatian city of Dubrovnik, a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most attractive global travel destinations. The event has been scheduled at the back end of the tourist season when the city is much quieter but still guarantees great weather and very warm waters!
The event has all of the added benefits and features you would expect from a big City event but at the same time offers a low-key friendly atmosphere with closed roads making it ideal for triathletes of ALL abilities.
As a camp athlete your race entry is included in the price and you are given the unique opportunity to leave your decision on what distance you want to race until the day before!
You can find our even more about the event by visiting the event website www.earthseafire.eu.
